Ok, so I got my first tablet this morning. It is a Wacom Bamboo tablet and it is wonderfully fluro 
I figured that the best way to learn to use it is to draw with it. This is the finished result. it is supposed to be a self-portrait but the hair isn't wavy enough I think. Oh well.
I used Paint Tool SAI to make the program. I used the Ballpoint pen for the colour and shading, and the Ink Pen for the lines
